Herewith a sampling of some of the flowers and seeds you’ll find scattered in Penticton’s untamed wilderness spots tucked in among the more “civilized” residential areas.  It does make one wonder if there isn’t something a bit foolish about the way we obsessively banish Mother Nature’s “weeds” in favour of our garden-variety flowers.  No one has to water, weed, aerate, trim or fertilize these beauties, and yet they thrive.  Enjoy!
